An RFQ (Request for Quotation) is a public sourcing request published by a verified buyer. Suppliers who match the category and destination can submit quotations, and the buyer compares them side by side.
Verified buyers — importers, manufacturers, distributors, and government procurement teams. Publishing is free for members; non-members can submit an RFQ through the Trade Desk for review.
Verified suppliers on the IMEXLOG network. Verification is required so buyers know every quote comes from a legitimate business.
Typically 14–30 days depending on the category and complexity. The buyer can close an RFQ early once sufficient quotations are received.
Most open RFQs receive 5–15 quotations, depending on category and destination. Complex or niche RFQs may receive fewer.
Publishing a basic RFQ is free for IMEXLOG members. Advanced features — priority listing, targeted supplier outreach, and specialist coordination — are available on Premium and Diamond plans.
The buyer reviews all quotations and, if interested, initiates a conversation with your team through the IMEXLOG portal. Your contact details are not shared until you both agree to proceed.
